iNurse is a service. While much of its content is publicly accessible, its focus is on its member organizations. These member organizations are nationally and internationally recognized specialty nursing groups who understand and have chosen to take advantage of the Internet and its various components. Here, members have a place to establish their own Web sites, with their own unique identity.

Member services that do not fall under public domain, such as chat areas, are accessible only by nurses associated with the member organization. Further, there are private discussion areas that can be made accessible only to specifically assigned members and not to other members.
